Warm up your spirits with a delightful cup of Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea, the perfect blend of comforting aromas and rich flavors. This soothing beverage combines the sweet notes of vanilla with the warm spice of cinnamon, making it an ideal treat for chilly evenings or busy afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon)
  • 4 vanilla beans (or 4 teaspoons vanilla extract)
  • 2 star anises (optional)
  • 4 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea or 4 black tea bags (optional)
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Sweetener of choice (honey, sugar, or sugar substitute)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a small pot.
  2. Remove from heat and add spices (cinnamon sticks/vanilla beans/star anises). Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
  3. If using black tea, add it now and steep for another 3-5 minutes.
  4. Heat milk until warm but not boiling.
  5. Strain the tea into the warm milk and stir in your sweetener to taste.
  6. Serve hot or chill over ice for a refreshing iced version.
