  • ¼ tsp Ground cloves

  • 150 g Unsalted butter
  • 80 g Brown sugar
  • 160 g Cream cheese
  • 220 g Icing sugar
  • Orange food color
  • Pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round 9-inch baking pans.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices in one bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
