  • 50 Grams (1/4 Cup) Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, browned
  • 1 Large Egg, at room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Milk Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 5.3oz (2/3 Cup) Pure Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 406 Grams-468 Grams (3 1/43 3/4 Cup) All-Purpose Flour
  • 150 Grams (3/4 Cup) Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 3oz (6 Tablespoons) Butter, browned
  • 4oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2oz (1/4 Cup) Browned Butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 180 Grams (1 1/2 Cups) Confectioners Sugar

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm water with instant dry yeast; let sit until bubbly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, browned butter, egg, dry milk powder, salt, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix in the activated yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread filling made of brown sugar and spices, then roll up tightly and slice.
  6. Allow sliced rolls to rise again in a greased dish before baking at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown.
  7. While cooling slightly, prepare frosting by mixing cream cheese with browned butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Frost warm rolls and enjoy!
