  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with 1 cup of granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Stir everything together well.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, remaining 1 cup of granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Pour the melted butter into your 9×13 inch baking dish. Then add vanilla extract and milk to your flour mixture and stir until smooth.
