  • 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a 9×13-inch pan with foil.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough into two rectangles, pressing them into the prepared pan to form the crust. Seal perforations.
  3. Bake the crust for about 8 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix all filling ingredients except for 3/4 cup pecans until smooth; stir in remaining pecans.
  5. Pour filling over hot crust and bake for an additional 18 to 22 minutes until set and golden.
  6. Allow bars to cool for one hour before lifting out and cutting into squares.
