  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for the swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with sour cream until well combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle half over the batter. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture. Gently swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
