  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar plus more for sprinkling
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8.5-by-4.5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a sauté pan over medium heat, melt the butter until golden brown, then set aside to cool slightly.
