  • 6 chicken hamburger buns, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 8 slices American cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix torn hamburger buns with melted butter and sesame seeds. Layer half in a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with half of the beef mixture and half of the special sauce; repeat layers.
  7. Finish with shredded cheddar cheese and slices of American cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden; let cool slightly before serving.
