  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and add it to the apple mixture to thicken.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Flatten each biscuit dough piece and place about a tablespoon of apple filling in the center. Seal securely.
  5. Dip each ball in melted butter and roll in sugar mixed with cinnamon.
  6. Place on baking sheet seam-side down and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow cooling slightly before serving warm.
