  • 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk or cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. For the crisp topping, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter until crumbly; set aside.
  3. Combine diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon in another bowl; set aside.
  4. To make the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth; add flour, vanilla extract, and egg until combined.
  5. For the bread batter, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until just mixed.
  6. Layer half of the bread batter into the prepared pan; spread half of the cheesecake filling followed by half of the apple mixture. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with crisp topping evenly and bake for about 60-70 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing.
