Ingredients

  • Turkey breast (3-4 lbs)
  • Apple cider (2 cups)
  • Butter (4 tbsp)
  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tbsp)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
  • Cloves (1/4 tsp, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the turkey dry, season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the turkey on all sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the turkey to a roasting pan and pour in 1 cup of apple cider.
  4. In a saucepan, combine remaining apple cider with brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer until thickened into a glaze, about 10-15 minutes.
